"I spent the better part of a year compiling a history of my parish here in Cookeville Tennessee. It is a 52 page magazine format (42 pages of text and 10 pages of photos), with documented details of everything from the first known Catholic family in Cookeville arranging for a priest to come four or five times a year on Mountain roads in the 1920s from the nearest Catholic Church 65 miles away to the east, to the establishment of our parish at midnight Mass on Christmas 1950, up through August 2025. 

The English original of the story was sold to parishioners for the cost of printing ($10). I did a Spanish translation (largely through Google Translate and a lot of phrase by phrase cross-checking), which has taken months, until the end of April 2026, for the first print run"
