It all started...

....in late 2013, with 4 guys in a booth in a diner in Park Ridge, NJ, and went from there. 

Since then, the Cuppa Club get-togethers have grown into a regular monthly event, and draw quite a bit larger crowds. 

Named as a nod to Vince's father, who had a "cuppa" coffee every morning, The Cuppa Club gives the '58 gang a chance to say hello, swap stories, and keep in touch beyond emails.

In the summer of 2015, we inaugurated the "Summa' Bash," an annual get-together which includes spouses. The Summa Bash is now our highlight event of the year, and in 2023, we used the occasion to hold our 65th Reunion. It was such a big hit, we decided it would be a reunion event every year, going forward.

Most of the Cuppa's have been in NJ, but we've had 3 Cali Cuppa's in Yorba Linda, California, with Randy O, Bill Shalhoub, Jim Kozmor, Vince, and Vince's brother Sal '61. Bernie Barry & Eddie Burke got together with Randy and his wife at the Bimini Boat Yard, in Ft. Lauderdale several times. 

What makes a get together a Cuppa Club meeting? The rule is pretty simple... If 2 or more '58 guys get together, it's an official Cuppa Club meeting. We have had Cuppa's with as many as fifteen guys, and as few as two. They all count.

As an accommodation to the 'shelter in place' order, we held our first 'Zoom' Cuppa on Tuesday, May 12th, 2020. We had a few glitches with scheduling, but eventually it got under way, and we have been at it ever since. It is so popular with the non-Jersey '58 guys, that we will keep it on the regular schedule.
